Negative thoughts can and will cause negative emotion.  Repeated negative thoughts cause poor self esteem, stress, anxiety, and depression. Just like changing your emotions takes awareness and work, so does challenging your negative thoughts.  Negative thoughts are often fear based and can be the result of negative childhood experiences and past trauma. Start working on noticing your negative thoughts this week to create awareness to begin to challenge your thinking.
